Promoting Community& Sociality

The University Club was founded in 1908 by Penn State faculty to create a sense of community.

Today, the Club continues to promotes sociality among its members who are local residents of all interests. We continue our mission to enjoy dining and engaging conversations each month.

Recently, our mission expanded to preserving the University Club's historical and cultural

significance to the overall State College community.

The Club building no longer remains standing, but it lives eternally

as a historic symbol of the Club's contributions to town-gown relations for 116+ years.
